Privilege without the risk from local admin rights

Endpoint Privilege Management

We do EPM differently

Radically reduce the risk of ransomware attacks while remaining productive

Why do you need Endpoint Privilege Management?

Too many users have the power to install applications or update their Windows desktops. This exposes a business to major cyber threats, such as ransomware attacks.
Removing local admin rights reduces the risk of security breaches. However, this can be a burden for IT service desks. It can lead to an influx of requests, increased workload for teams, and impacts user productivity.
Endpoint Privilege Management is the solution to improve endpoint security without creating extra workload.

How does Osirium EPM solve the problem?

Osirium Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) removes the need for users to have admin rights. By controlling which applications and sessions are run with elevated privileges, ransomware and malware can't be installed.

IT admins can quickly roll out the privilege management solution. Learning Mode helps them do this by automatically detecting and creating baseline policies. This process does not interrupt users' work and there is very little workload in terms of ongoing management and maintenance.

EPM includes full native support for Microsoft Azure Active Directory (part of Intune) (Entra ID) , on-premise Active Directory, and hybrid deployments. EPM is ready for cloud desktop management, even if you haven't made the switch yet.

Designed to be simple and easy to use, Osirium EPM gets the job done without the hassle.

How does Osirium do EPM differently?

Customers enjoy Osirium's focus on providing protection quickly and with minimal effort. EPM specifically addresses the issue of admin privileges on Windows desktops, making it easy to deploy and manage. Unlike many competitors, it doesn't depend on external systems or specialised network configuration.

Osirium EPM is a standalone solution but it's also a natural extension of Osirium Privileged Access Management (PAM).

EPM for IT Leaders

IT regains control over how elevated privileges are used on users' Windows desktops. They can control which applications can be run as Admin, and who can switch their desktop session into Admin mode. Rules are easily deployed as policies and audit trails maintained for incident investigation or compliance reporting. Whether the IT infrastructure uses on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, or a hybrid approach, EPM provides the same capabilities and processes to simplify management and be ready for future changes

End USERs

EPM for End Users

End users can still run applications with elevated privileges to get their work done without having unlimited access to admin rights such as updating their CAD tool plugins. If they need access to a new application, they can raise a request to the IT admins from within Osirium EPM. They can even request or run with elevated privileges even when not connected to the corporate network.

ADMINS

EPM for Sys Admins

Many system administrators need privileged access on their desktops to get their work done. For example, they may need to make configuration changes or use low-level diagnostic tools such as network traffic monitors. As admins are usually the more experienced and technical staff members, they can also be granted permissions to elevate their entire desktop session, and even self-approve that escalation when needed.

EPM for Developers

Just like admins, developers often need elevated permissions to run debuggers, network and database admin tools or to install/update plugins in Visual Studio. Osirium EPM allows them to get on with their work while maintaining control and audits.
